Jorge Castillo of ESPN was first to report the agreement Saturday.

Primarily a first baseman and designated hitter for the Padres, Arraez reportedly will play second base for the Giants after playing only 14 games there in 154 games in 2025.

The three-time All-Star will look to win his fourth career batting title in San Francisco after doing so with the Minnesota Twins (2022), Miami Marlins (2023) and Padres (2024).

No player has led his league in batting average with four different teams in MLB history.
