Range Media Partners Signs ‘Jagged Little Pill’ Actress & Musician Lauren Patten
EXCLUSIVE: Range has inked Tony Award-winning actress and musician Lauren Patten, the breakout star of the Tony-nominated Alanis Morissette-Diablo Cody Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill.
Patten won the Tony, Grammy Award and Drama Desk Award for her turn as Jo, a role she created from the first reading onwards.
Most recently on stage, Patten starred in the world premiere production of the new rock musical The Lonely Few at the Geffen Playhouse and reprised her role as Lila at the Off Broadway MCC Theater last spring.
Previous stage credits also include Fun Home on Broadway; Sarah DeLappe’s The Wolves, produced by the Playwright’s Realm, which won Obie and Drama Desk Awards for ensemble work; Days of Rage at the Second Stage Theater; and Deaf West’s Spring Awakening in Los Angeles among others.
In TV, Patten starred as Anna Collier in the Hulu original series Death and Other Details alongside Mandy Patinkin. She is also known as Rachel Witten on CBS’ Blue Bloods, a role she has played for six seasons. Other previous roles include Season 3 of The Good Fight on Paramount+, HBO’s Succession and more. She will next be seen in a recurring role in the upcoming Prime Video series Off Campus.
As a musician, Patten has played shows with her band at Sony Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End and Tavern on the Green. She released her first EP, Covers, in March 2024.
