Burberry Releases Harmony Korine-Directed Festive Film With Pierce Brosnan and Fiona Shaw

Burberry published its 2026 festive campaign by Nov. 3, a film titled “Wrapped in Burberry: Celebrating 170 Years.” Harmony Korine directed it. Pierce Brosnan and Fiona Shaw play the hosts of a Christmas gathering.

The film marks the British house’s 170th anniversary and is part of its anniversary celebrations through the year, according to Style Rave. It is set at Longleat House in Wiltshire, England, and comes with a festive range that covers cashmere, childrenswear, pet accessories and Smythson stationery and games.

What the film shows at Longleat House

The film opens with Shaw inviting guests to Longleat House, a historic English estate in Wiltshire. She rushes to greet them while Brosnan sits in a living room reading a newspaper, according to the Press Association’s account published by The Irish News.

That account describes Brosnan as unenthusiastic about the chaos. Presents are passed around, children run through the hallways and a disco ball is installed.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade play golf in matching Burberry outfits, and Shaw drives a golf cart around the grounds.

The party interrupts Brosnan’s quiet evening. He eventually joins in and dances with Cara Delevingne. The night ends with a firework display, and Shaw wakes up on a living room sofa.

Style Rave describes golf buggy races, countryside walks, party games and gift exchanges. It says the film moves through different parts of the property before the guests gather under an oversized disco ball, and that Korine gives it a cinematic approach.

Who hosts, who attends and who directed

Style Rave and RetailBoss name Brosnan and Shaw as the hosts.

The guests named in the coverage are Delevingne, Dylan Brosnan, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Kim Min-ha, Nico Parker and Wu Lei. Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, also appears. Style Rave gives Union’s name as Gabrielle Union-Wade.

Style Rave identifies Wu Lei as a Burberry global brand ambassador.

The Press Association account says Shaw played Aunt Petunia Dursley in Harry Potter, has won a number of Olivier Awards and won Best Supporting Actress at the 2019 BAFTA TV Awards for Killing Eve. It says Brosnan is known for playing James Bond and for MobLand, Mamma Mia and The Thomas Crown Affair.

The festive range behind the campaign

Style Rave lists the range that accompanies the film. It includes the Kensington trenchcoat, reworked in lightweight cashmere with a brushed finish.

Check cashmere scarves come in more than 40 colours. Alongside them is a new Blackwatch Check design that Style Rave says is inspired by historic tartan.

Childrenswear in the range includes miniature gabardine trenchcoats and down-filled puffer jackets. Style Rave also lists knitted check sweaters and check-woven bandanas for pets.

Stationery and games come from Smythson. Style Rave names notebooks, folding chess sets and backgammon sets.

RetailBoss describes the Smythson collaboration as previously announced. It says the leather notebooks and games are made in England, and it also mentions cashmere and personalised accessories in the gifting range.

What Burberry says about the party

Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer, said the house wanted to celebrate 170 years of Burberry “with a proper party,” as quoted by Style Rave and RetailBoss.

Style Rave reports that Lee described the party as family, friends, great gifts and everyone dressed up.

Style Rave presents the film as a way to mark the anniversary through a traditional festive occasion. It says the concept stresses the social side of the holidays while keeping the brand’s design codes.

The film was out by Nov. 3, 2026. No exact release date has been given in the coverage.
